I have always had quite naturally thin hair and after dying my hair so many times and always using heat on my hair it became even thinner.
There is nothing more attractive than gorgeous thick locks!
I have always had long hair until about a year ago when I decided to follow the short hair trend, my hair also needed a good chop as it wasn't so healthy anymore!
I instantly regretted having my hair cut and really missed having long hair that I could do so much with.
This was the point when I decided that I needed to invest in some hair extensions.
I began by looking at reviews on hair extensions and after much research I decided to go with Headkandy hair extensions.
I was swayed by their excellent customer service and the time that they took to match up the colour of my hair and help me with the length and amount of hair that I needed! (I had no clue).
I went for the deluxe set in expresso darkest brown #B2 at 16-18 inches.
I needed the hair extensions for a night out that weekend. The lovely sales member at Foxy Locks was very kind and assured me my extensions would be with me in time for my party.
They was indeed with me in time and I was so excited to try them!
They arrived in a lovely small black box with the hair tightly folded in a net.
The hair was extremely thick and very soft. I originally anticipated in needing to have the hair cut to match my hair, however once I placed them in my hair they looked completely natural and did not need cutting. The ends were cut perfectly.
The hair came as follows:
1.5 inch (1clip) = 2 pieces
4 inch (2 clips) = 5 pieces
6 inch (3 clips) = 2 pieces
8 inch Quad Weft (3 clips) = 1 piece ~ 4 wefts on 1 strip (3clips)
Total pieces per set: 10
Total weight 160grams
As they come with ten pieces this is great for someone like me with thin hair as you can choose the amount that you put in - depending on where you go and the style you want to do.
You can also choose where you would like to place your wefts to suit the style of your hair and for 'up-do's' you can place a few extensions at the back of your head and put the hair up for a long up do!
I watched some youtube tutorials on how to use extensions that helped me.
I needed the extensions for lenght but mainly volume. These extensions definitly gave me that! They were so think and made my hair look amazing!
A very helpful little handbook also came with the extensions which was an absolute dream for me as I had no idea how to put them in.
To my surprise each weft of hair was very easy to put in and after a couple of times I was doing it without using the booklet.
The hair was beautiful and I couldn't feel a thing once they were in.
The extensions became a must have for me and I would not go on a night out without them!
As my hair grew longer I decided I no longer wanted brown hair and wanted to be a blonde again.
My natural hair colour is probably a strawberry blonde but I go light ash blonde with many different blondes put through to break it up.
I no longer use my hair extensions as I am not brown anymore. I would love another pair but my bank balance wont allow me just yet!
I would definitely recommend these hair extentions they come at a good length that can be cut if you wanted to go shorter, the extensions are quite versatile and generally a shade lighter or darker will match your hair once in.
The extensions lasted me 7 months and they are now in good use by a friend who adores them, which makes it a year and 3 months. These extensions are only used for nights out but that is plenty of nights out :)
They are still in fab condition but they have been looked after well and placed in the box between use.
The extensions also come with infomation on how to care for your extensions which was very useful, this has kept the extensions at their best.
I will be investing in some more very soon but I would be interested to maybe try out a different brand now that I am blonde and then I can review them also to compare.

Overall
Length [09/10] - The come in a range of lengths and you can cut them to suit your hair. The shape was great and were cut neatly and all wefts were the same length.
Thickness [10/10] - The hair is extremely thick and as I have thin hair I didn't need to wear all the wefts. The extensions have varied thickness depending on the length you purchase. My extensions were 160g which was more than enough.
Colour [10/10] - The colour matched well and even tho the colour did not match exactly out of my hair it matched perfectly once in. A wide range of colours are available on their website.
Price [07/10] - The extensions I bought can be purchased for £85.99 which even though the hair is INCREDIBLE it is a very high price for people who are not able to spend that type of money. Mine were a treat for my birthday. However even thought they are quite expensive the hair quality is amazing and look so natural in your hair.

I would recommend these to anyone wanting to achieve long, thick and natural looking locks.
I will be researching more extensions brands now to see if I can find any that beat these ones!
